Choose the right chart

A useful chart starts with a question, not a visualization type.

Open the selector

  1. Open Charts.
  2. Click + Chart.
  3. Select the data source.
  4. Select the chart type.

Use a line for sensor measurements

When a measurement changes continuously—speed, temperature, pressure—a line makes its path and sudden changes easy to see.
